About The Author

I might be called a late bloomer. Though I have always loved theatre and saw my first play by the time I was 6, I did not really pursue theatre as a vocation till my 40’s. I began my theatre journey as a costume designer and then transitioned to director accumulating 25+ years experience.

I was born in Iowa but only lived there 6 weeks.  My father was an Air Force pilot  and we moved may times during my childhood.  I have been married to my husband, Bill, for 47 years and we are the blessed parents of 4 children who have children of their own.

While none of my plays are autobiographical, all of them reflect a lifetime of experience and point of view.  It is my hope that you will find within my plays something that speaks to you and your company.
