One Act Drama for Middle Schoolers

13-year-old Tessie is going to a new school, again.  While her father is serving as a pilot in Vietnam, Tessie, her mother and sister Mary are staying with Tessie’s grandparents.  Tessie  finds herself trying to manage in middle school with a whole new social structure.  Her first friend is a girl named Brenda who appears to struggle with fitting in at school.  Things become more difficult when Tessie’s father is reported missing and Tessie tries to balance the stress at home and the stress at school.
